Tracie Moore
Vice President of Administration
Tracie Moore is a committed advocate for financial empowerment, specializing in income maximization and tax optimization for business owners and families. With 20 years of experience in accounting and finance, she brings deep expertise to her role as a licensed insurance broker and agency owner.
Career Achievements
Tracie previously served as senior manager in the City of Atlanta’s benefits department for ten years, overseeing the pension department, carrier reporting, and a $162 million budget. Her work ensured employees received critical benefits, strengthening their financial security.
Corporate Expertise
She has also partnered with Fortune 500 companies as an accounting and employee benefits consultant, optimizing financial processes to improve efficiency and organizational stability.
Community Engagement
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Tracie is committed to community impact. As vice president of Administration for the National Black MBA Atlanta Chapter, she plays a key role in fundraising for scholarships and leadership programs, helping students access higher education and career opportunities.
Michelle Marshall
Vice President of Communications
Michelle Marshall is a transformative leader and founder of The PurposeWell Group, a strategic advisory and experience design firm dedicated to purpose-driven brands, equitable ecosystems, and meaningful community partnerships. With over 15 years of experience spanning Fortune 100 companies, global brands, and national nonprofits, Michelle designs forward-thinking CSR and stakeholder strategies that generate scalable, sustainable solutions and measurable community impact.
Social Impact Leadership
Previously, Michelle served as the inaugural Head of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Social Impact at PUMA North America, where she developed the company’s first global DEI and social impact framework. Her leadership drove strategic growth, boosted diverse talent acquisition by nearly 20%, and positioned PUMA as an industry leader in equitable business practices.
Transformative Programs
She spearheaded initiatives including the REFORM social justice platform, with over $5 million invested and partnerships with organizations such as the Trayvon Martin Foundation, the Trevor Project, the ACLU, and the Shawn Carter Foundation, advancing racial equity, gender equality, and LGBTQ+ rights. She also led the We Are Legends capsule collection, an all-black employee-led initiative celebrating authentic storytelling of Black culture, and forged a multi-year partnership with Clark Atlanta University to support HBCU access to sneaker and fashion careers, including $1 million in scholarships.
Women’s Leadership
Before PUMA, Michelle was Senior Director of Women’s Leadership Initiatives at United Way of Greater Atlanta, where she raised over $4 million and led programs addressing systemic barriers affecting women in low-income communities, including disparities in maternal health, education, childcare, and economic mobility.
Advancing Equity
She managed a network of over 3,000 women executives, entrepreneurs, and changemakers, overseeing large-scale events, corporate partnerships, and strategic initiatives with organizations such as Coca-Cola and Delta Air Lines. Michelle also provided governance for two Women United Boards, aligning corporate and community efforts to advance equity and opportunity for women in underserved communities.

Michelle’s expertise extends across Fortune 100 companies and national nonprofits. At Nationwide Insurance, where she spent more than a decade, she held roles in claims, underwriting, operations, and community affairs. In her final role, she managed corporate citizenship, experiential and multicultural marketing, and brand reputation initiatives across a nine-state Southeast region.

She launched programs including Nationwide’s first Diversity Council Committee for the Southeast and the company’s first Women’s Symposium, driving social impact, community trust, and market presence.

Vice President of Finance
Jonathan Jordan earned a degree in economics from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA in finance from Clark Atlanta University. He is a finance professional and community-minded leader with experience in financial planning, strategic analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.

Jonathan has worked in the automotive, banking, and telecommunications industries, supporting data-driven decision-making by analyzing market trends, improving forecasting accuracy, and partnering with business leaders to achieve sustainable growth.

Beyond his corporate role, Jonathan is passionate about leadership development, mentorship, and expanding professional opportunities for underrepresented talent. He brings a collaborative mindset, financial expertise, and commitment to service aligned with the mission of the NBMBAA Atlanta Chapter.
Tyeisha Miller
Vice President of Operations
Tyeisha Miller earned a BS from Tennessee State University and completed Meharry Medical College’s Medical Technology program. She began her career as a laboratory scientist and later merged her passion for science with business administration to become a healthcare operations leader.
Healthcare Executive
She holds an MBA in Healthcare Administration from Loyola University Chicago and studied Global Business Strategies at Loyola University’s Rome, Italy campus. She currently serves as Clinical Laboratory Administrator at Wellstar Healthcare.
Chapter Leadership
Tyeisha has been a member of the Atlanta Chapter for 14 years and serves as vice president of operations. She has held roles including Director of Student Affairs, Director of Leaders of Tomorrow (LOT), and Advisor for the LOT Atlanta Business Case team. She is a Spring 2023 graduate of the United Way Volunteer Involvement Program and has received multiple NBMBAA Leaders of Tomorrow Chapter of the Year Awards, leading her team to three consecutive business case competition victories from 2022–2024.

Demetria Ali
Vice President of Records
Demetria Ali is a technical program manager at Microsoft in Atlanta, leading end-to-end client development and delivering digital enterprise solutions. She is proficient in Power Apps, Power Platform Fundamentals, Power BI + Dataverse, and Power Automate Flows.
Servant Leadership
Demetria is passionate about servant leadership and actively participates in community organizations, including the National Black MBA Association, American Cancer Society, Junior League of Atlanta, United Way AAP, and the National Coalition of 100 Black Women.
Travis Townsend
Immediate Past President
Travis Townsend is co-founder and financial partner of Townsend & Lockett, LLC, in Atlanta, Georgia, where he manages the firm’s multi-million-dollar financial strategy. He also leads Townsend & Lockett’s corporate law and securities transactional practices, directing over $21B in closed transactions.
Legal Leadership
Travis is a managing consultant at Torinity Consulting Company, where he develops leadership programs and intergroup dialogue departments. He is also an adjunct professor at the University of Michigan School of Law and Emory School of Law, teaching deal skills and transactional law simulations.
Charmaine Ward
Chapter Advisor
Charmaine Ward-Millner is Corporate Relations Director for Georgia Power, managing strategic state and national relationships with opinion leaders, corporate partners, and civic organizations to advance company and industry initiatives.
Professional Expertise
Charmaine is a recognized speaker, adjunct professor at Georgia State, serial entrepreneur, John Maxwell Leadership Coach, and ICF Professional Certified Coach.
Community Service
Her community involvement is extensive. She serves on the Board of Trustees for Clark Atlanta University, is secretary of the National Black MBA national board, and sits on multiple other boards, including:
